Learners are capable of interpreting technical drawings, applying engineering concepts, and integrating science and mathematics into real-world projects. By participating in experiential learning placements, students can contribute to industry projects by performing tasks such as project planning, surveying, and construction management, thereby providing tangible value to employers.
Learners
Over the course of their 112-hour placement, learners will actively contribute to surveying, construction, and project planning tasks. They will obtain and interpret drawings, reports, and instructions, ensuring alignment with project specifications. Employers will benefit from the students’ ability to integrate science, math, and engineering concepts into practical applications, producing measurable contributions to ongoing projects and operations.

- Accurate survey maps and data analysis
- Construction project plans and schedules
- Quality assurance checklists and compliance documentation
