This posting is for a course to prepare students for the following Microsoft Role: Azure Administrator.

These courses run on a rolling basis throughout the year - please submit to this posting if your project is to be completed in September-October 2022. For projects running future other timeframes, please refer to our subportal on Riipen.

Students in this course are all enrolled in the School of Continuing Education and therefore are more experienced in the workforce.

This will be dependent on the scope of the given project. This could include a written report and/or presentation on student findings and recommendations.

Some potential project examples:

  • Create and manage various data storage solutions on Microsoft Azure. Includes managing user access and authentication.
  • Create and manage compute resources on Microsoft Azure. Compute resources can include virtual machines (and virtual networking), containers, and Azure App Service.
  • Create and monitor backup and recovery solutions using Microsoft Azure.

This course teaches IT Professionals how to manage their Azure subscriptions, secure identities, administer the infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, back up and share data, and monitor your solution.

This course is for Azure Administrators. The Azure Administrator implements, manages, and monitors identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment. The Azure Administrator will provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources as appropriate.

Students in this course will be developing the skillset required to successfully write the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
