Althea Therapy's culturally-responsive wellness mission is helping people across Canada overpass systemic barriers to find more tailored resources, tools and healing pathways that match their needs. This project is a milestone for me. It has been inspiring to (re/un)learn on my feet while collaborating with Micheline and the Althea Therapy team. Life got in the way more than once during this contract and Micheline remained receptive, despite the inconveniences. I only wish this internship could have been face-to-face! Micheline is a compassionate leader who is very driven, direct, organized, and generous with her feedback and guidance. She really wants each intern to be able to locate and apply their skills and strengths, while adapting and growing to meet Althea Therapy's needs. I highly recommend working with this team if the opportunity strikes. I hope to collaborate again in the future.
