The primary project requirement is to create a social media marketing strategy.
The strategy should include:
- Conducting an audit of our current social media presence.
- Developing strategies for improving our online presence by recommending programs, tools, methods of engagement, social channels, or communication pieces.
- Developing strategies for increasing engagement on our various public accounts, blogs, or other marketing assets.
- Conducting an assessment of the effectiveness of our current communication channel(s).
- Identifying best practices to reach a new target audience.
- Identifying best practices within your current market segment to achieve a larger market share.
- Developing a 6-month roll out plan.
- Creating example social media posts based on our branding guidelines
- Integrating initiatives and opportunities that involve positive social/environmental impact.
We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to increase our brand awareness and customer engagement.
Students will work closely with the co-founders who will be supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

Our mission is to create a sustainable online network that supports families by saving them time, money, and energy as they navigate the challenges of parenthood. We achieve this by connecting parents in local communities to lend and borrow baby items. Our platform handles communications and financial transactions securely and doubles as a community review site to help parents decide what’s best for them.
We’re motivated by our core values of accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability. To foster accessibility, BMB offers both web and mobile-friendly platforms. There are no barriers or fees to join. Borrowers can access high quality baby goods without the hefty price tag and long-term commitment, while families can recoup costs of their items when not in use e.g. between children.
