Students will be members of our social enterprise startup team and expected to regularly interact/communicate with fellow team members
Students should be prepared to:
- Developing storytelling and writing for our new website, social media and communications
- Journalism tasks such as writing stories, news layout, researching, interviewing, editing in print or online
- Communication tasks in writing, editing, research or a combination of these three
- Students are required to attend weekly virtual team meetings
- Define the project scope up front to the best of our abilities, with limited scope changes once students are approved for the project.
- Review student applications and accept or decline applications within 14 days.
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship and supervision to students throughout the project.
- We will have regular bi-weekly virtual 1on1 meetings with students
