The goal of this project (Inventory Checker) is to allow shoppers to buy products and product variants that are in stock. Shoppers should not be allowed to buy any product that is not in stock. Shoppers should know before hand if product or product variant quantity falls below 10 items.

Deliverables

Develop and Write code that allows:

  1. Shoppers will only see products that are in stock in the search
  2. A shopper will see an out-of-stock prompt/indicator for a variant that is out of stock
  3. Retailers are able to see an accurate quantity of their products
  4. Retailers are able to see an accurate quantity for their products variants
  5. If the retailer has attached an Integrated POS, eCommerce, or Inventory Management Platform their products inventory/quantity should match product quantity at all times (in real-time).
  6. If a retailer has attached an Integrated POS, eCommerce or Inventory Management Platform, their product quantity should decrement/update after the purchased quantity of product was sold.

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the CEO, CTO and Project Manager and will be available for questions. Materials needed to accomplish the task will be provided.
