Develop a social entrepreneurship plan that outlines how to train homeless youth in Vancouver to become skilled artisans in the creation of sustainable packaging made from recycled cardboard.

Problem: Homeless youth in Vancouver face significant barriers to stable employment and may lack the skills and resources needed to secure and maintain a job. By providing training and employment opportunities in sustainable packaging artistry, this project aims to empower these individuals to gain the skills and experience needed to transition into sustainable employment and improve their overall quality of life.

Deliverables
  • Research the issue of homelessness among youth in Vancouver and packaging development using recycled cardboard.
  • Conduct a needs assessment of homeless youth to determine their skill sets and needs for employment.
  • Develop a social entrepreneurship plan that outlines how the project will train and employ homeless youth in packaging development using recycled cardboard.
  • Identify potential funding sources for the project and develop a financial plan.
  • Identify potential partnerships with other businesses, government agencies, NGOs, and philanthropic organizations to further support the project.
  • Develop a communication plan to engage with homeless youth and communicate the benefits of the project to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the success of the project and make recommendations for future improvements.
