We are looking for a student who can assist with event planning for our community events initiative starting this July. The student will be in contact with our Communications Director to help plan and organize community events in Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding areas.

The student will be creating a calendar for 6 months of community events for major cities in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Alberta. We are open to all suggestions and encourage students to be creative!

• Create a calendar for 6 months of community events
• The calendar should include at least 20 unique events for each city.
• The calendar will include events for major cities in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Alberta.
• Students will be expected to research venues, prices, availability, and other requirements for each planned event.

• Students will have the opportunity to schedule one on one meetings whenever necessary
• Weekly team meetings
• Employer will be open to discussing where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
