We are looking to collaborate with students to implement a digital marketing strategy that will promote WeSpare’s platform and grow our user base.
Project Scope and Expectations:
This project will provide students with hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a focus on content creation, social media management, and campaign execution. Students will be expected to:
- Familiarize themselves with WeSpare’s target market (immigrant communities, ethnocultural groups, and those interested in interest-free financial solutions).
- Review existing marketing materials (social media posts, email templates, brochures) and suggest improvements.
- Deploy content according to our social media calendar to increase website traffic and promote sign-ups.
- Manage and update WeSpare’s digital channels (including social media platforms and the website) to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Bonus Tasks:
- While SEO recommendations are not mandatory, students who are interested in going above and beyond may also provide suggestions for improving the discoverability of WeSpare’s content online.
Key Deliverables:
- Marketing Materials:
- Create 3-5 social media posts (graphics and copy) tailored to WeSpare’s target audience.
- Develop 2 email templates for outreach campaigns, including subject lines, body copy, and calls to action.
- Design 1 brochure or flyer that promotes WeSpare’s platform and services.
2. Campaign Management:
- Implement the content according to the provided social media calendar and schedule at least 5 posts across WeSpare’s platforms.
- Monitor engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) for each post to assess the campaign's impact.
3. Report and Reflection:
- Provide a final report summarizing the marketing materials created, the campaign's performance, and any recommendations for improvement.
- Include a brief reflection note on what was learned during the project.

To complete the project, please submit the following as your final deliverables:
- Marketing materials (social media posts, email templates, brochure).
- A final report detailing the campaign’s performance and your recommendations.
- A reflection note on the digital marketing process.
Please upload the deliverables in a format that suits your work, such as Word documents, PDFs, JPEG images, or presentations. If the project involves confidential materials, provide redacted samples or summaries instead.

About the company
WeSpare offers a secure online platform that provides access to interest-free capital by creating a community-based savings and cash advance system (ROSCA) where members of the same group save to take turns receiving the pooled funds to individuals and communities who are underserved by the dominant (or traditional) financial institutions.
Each member of a Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA) saves every week, 2 weeks or month a predetermined amount and a different member receives the total funds without any interest to meet financial needs.
