Additionally, the donation page needs to be fixed and updated to streamline the donation process, making it more user-friendly and efficient. This project offers learners the opportunity to apply their web development skills, including content management, user experience design, and basic coding, to create a cohesive and informative online platform that aligns with the organization's mission. The current website is built in SquareSpace.

Remote IT Support and Knowledge Base Development

Women Empowered International is seeking to enhance its IT infrastructure to better support its team remotely. The project aims to simulate an IT Help Desk environment where learners can apply their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. The goal is to build a comprehensive Knowledge Base that will serve as a resource for common troubleshooting issues and IT policies. Additionally, the project will involve a review and update of existing IT policies to ensure they align with current best practices. Learners will also conduct a network setup and security audit to identify potential vulnerabilities. By creating a Security Awareness Training Toolkit, the project aims to educate team members on best practices for maintaining a secure digital environment. Finally, the project will include the development of technical support diagnostic flowcharts and scripts, as well as job aids for onboarding and systems activation.
