Marketing Strategy for PopIn Event Promotion

PopIn is a versatile platform designed to help users find the best matches at various events, whether they are business, social, or online gatherings. The goal of this project is to create a comprehensive marketing plan to promote PopIn to event organizers and event locations. The marketing plan should focus on increasing awareness and adoption of PopIn among these target audiences. The project will involve researching current market trends, identifying key marketing channels, and developing targeted marketing strategies. The team will also need to create promotional materials and propose a timeline for implementation. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of marketing principles, market research, and strategic planning in a real-world context.

Usability Testing for PopIn app

The main problem we are trying to solve is to garner more user feedback through users’ experiences with our interface. We would like to understand our strengths and areas of improvement from a customer perspective. We would like to collaborate with students to conduct usability tests with pre-identified customers. We will provide our latest prototypes for these tests. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Conducting background research on our products. Reaching out to customers and scheduling interviews. Familiarizing themselves with the usability tasks that should be administered. Conducting the moderated interviews remotely and following up with customers to thank them for their participation. Analyzing and reporting the metrics / results of the tests.

SEO for FindGrant

Our team is looking to improve organic traffic to our website by optimizing our website, enhancing visibility across search engines, and ensuring FindGrant reaches the businesses and individuals who need us most. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase website traffic and rankings. Conduct comprehensive keyword research aligned with our target audience (e.g., small businesses, entrepreneurs, women, Indigenous, and BIPOC communities). Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, titles, headers, and URLs. Improve website content to ensure it is SEO-friendly, while aligning with our mission and target market. Analyze website analytics, track performance, and create reports on SEO progress and KPIs. Perform competitor analysis and identify new SEO opportunities. Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, keyword-rich content.

EventConnect - using javascript

We aim to develop an innovative networking app that bridges the gap between social events and community engagement, combining the functionalities of LinkTree and Eventbrite. The goal is to build an interactive Chrome extension designed with Figma that allows users to seamlessly connect with others at events, share their profiles, and discover community activities. This project will enable learners to apply their UI/UX design skills and knowledge of interactive prototyping tools and then bring it to life with Javascript The prototype should focus on user-friendly navigation, intuitive design, and interactive elements that enhance the user experience. The learners will work on creating wireframes, designing the user interface, and developing interactive elements to simulate real-world usage.
