Working with AHF was amazing! Before starting, they asked me what skills I would specifically like to improve and by the end of the 80 hours, I became more proficient in them and gained a lot of confidence in my abilities. Really amazing work culture.

I was able to learn more about social justice while also developing essential skills in marketing. Rules and responsibilities are also outlined clearly and the team leaders are proactive on checking in with you and ensuring that you have everything you need. I would work with them again without hesitation!

My time at Accelerate Her Future was truly an insightful experience where I was constantly supported by women of diverse backgrounds. The AHF team fostered an environment of inclusivity and passion and aims to amplify the voices of BIWOC and their experiences in academic and work environments. This position provided me with the opportunity to both apply enhance my research skillset. Being a woman in STEM myself, it was an honour to intern at an organization that aligns with my personal beliefs and research findings that resonate with my personal experiences. Overall, I felt valued as a team member and thoroughly enjoyed my experience at AHF.

The AHF team was very supportive throughout my time. I am extremely grateful to have worked with an amazing team who focuses on team building and supporting BIWOC in their professional and personal development.
