Expected outcomes and deliverables

Students will produce a report and a presentation of their recommendations for amendments to the company’s social media platforms, and then suggest a strategy for the organisation to go forward. Students may also recommend the addition of new platforms to the company’s social media inventory.

Project Examples

Students will interview company stakeholders to learn about the company’s history, projects, innovations, products and services, and other content essential to the company’s brand. Students will review current social media platforms for design, essential elements, and messaging, and make suggestions for improvements and additional platforms.

Examples include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assessment of essential elements such as social media platform (i.e. Twitter, Facebook)
    • Products and services offered
    • Photos and videos of past projects
    • Advancements in the industry
  • Client testimonials
  • Collection and integration of media and press coverage
  • Collection and integration of industry certifications

A strong social media presence is essential for any company. Students can help you leverage your social media platforms to drive traffic to your site and win clients.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
