Details

We’d like students to help analyze our current game datasets to draw helpful insights, while also making recommendations for strategic ways data could further improve and measure our impact.

From this analysis, we hope to not only improve our processes and understanding but also gain insights that will enhance our strategy. These insights will be directly related to business outcomes (to reach more teens and educators) but should help us better showcase our impact to Inform our secondary audience made up of non profits, government and corporate stakeholders on the impact of our game and its strategy. It should also align with our three (3) core goals for teens to 1) Increase risk-perceptions of predatory behaviors on and offline 2) Motivate peer-to-peer conversations about healthy and unhealthy scenarios and increase empathy 3) Guide teens to take action to prevention and intervention.

Deliverables

Analyzed datasets with recommendations from this analysis in the form of a report. Should help with areas like

  • Tell an impactful story using data visualizations and graphics to ensure prevention and inspire key stakeholder
  • Create and design useful weekly or monthly data reports for internal and external stakeholders to show the game impact
  • Improve data strategy and key questions driving our existing data dashboard
  • Consider integration of the pre and post survey into our existing data dashboard
  • Identify helpful trends or potential predictive strategies to use at a future date that are more sophisticated as we grow

Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. We will onboard all students with a dive into our work, past research and add them to our internal communications tools including Slack and Asana. We will set up weekly or bi weekly zoom calls via Studio Jayne CEO and where relevant, other employees and partners will join. In order to share specific data, we may ask students sign an NDA to provide access to proprietary data on a needs basis.
