Our homepage was quickly put together as a landing page for our MVP, but now that our product is released, our site needs a new look. The current implementation lacks any information about our product description, features, and benefits. The end goal of this project will be to develop a new homepage (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and work with a graphic designer to determine what graphical assets need to be created for the various sections of the new page.

The project steps are as follows:

1. Walk-through of the current implementation, noting down what needs to be included in the new design
2. Research into existing homepages from other companies/products for inspiration and for an idea of how different webpages approach dynamic scaling
3. Creation of a few quick mockups in Figma or any other design software of your choice
4. Meeting with the project manager to talk about your findings and go over the mockups
5. Meeting with the graphic designer to go over the assets that need to be created for the webpage
6. Creating the webpage in HTMl, CSS, and JavaScript. Note: Django HTML templates, tags, and filters will also be used
7. Creating dynamic scaling for smaller screen sizes/mobile views
8. Meeting with the project manager and testing the webpage implementation

By the end of the project you will get to see your webpage used in production as the new front page of Noo Speak!

Students will be able to meet with the founder and fullstack developer of Noo Speak at any time throughout the project. If timelines align, there is also the possibility of working directly with a graphic designer for a part of the project.
