PROJECT 2: Wellness App Implementation & Data Integration for Bhakti Wellness Center

Bhakti Wellness Center provides holistic health services through neurofeedback, acupuncture, and bodywork. They aim to develop a wellness monitoring app that translates smartwatch sensor data into actionable health insights with a focus on heart rate variability (HRV) and breath pacing. Building on the research and design phase, this project will focus on implementing the wellness monitoring app. Learners will develop the breath pacer module, integrate smartwatch data, and construct the functional interface based on the design specifications provided by Project 1. The focus will be on creating a working prototype that can be tested for data accuracy, usability, and health monitoring efficacy.

Wellness Monitor App Development

The Bhakti Wellness Center aims to empower individuals to take control of their health by developing a user-friendly app that utilizes smartwatch sensor data. The primary goal of this project is to create an application that can interpret heart rate variability and other key health indicators, providing users with real-time feedback. This app will enable users to monitor their health metrics and receive training suggestions to improve their overall wellness. The project will focus on integrating smartwatch data with an intuitive interface that translates complex health data into actionable insights. By leveraging classroom knowledge in app development and data analysis, learners will gain practical experience in creating a health-focused digital tool. The project will involve tasks such as designing the app interface, developing algorithms to process sensor data, and testing the app for usability and accuracy.
