Digital Content Creation for a Career Accelerator

Number of individual students required: 2 Students at Accelerate Her Future will be provided with an opportunity to develop interview guides for leaders, managers and fellows we wish to profile on our blog. They will also have an opportunity to write highlighting recent research focused on gender and racial equity as well as state of women in the workplace. This engagement will give interns an opportunity to work with a dynamic team within a collaborative environment. The student will be exposed to a variety of skills and experiences to enhance their knowledge of digital marketing, communication, and content creation. We are a young startup and as a career accelerator for students and recent graduates we care deeply about mentorship. We will help our students succeed as much as we want them to help us enhance our digital footprint. We are looking for students who have creative vision, tenacity, driven, and see possibilities in all things and who thrive at developing creating digital copy and content for social and web. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write set up blog interview guides, blog articles, and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Who are we looking for? Ideally you have lived experience and ‘insider knowledge’ of the communities we serve at the core of our mission. You are inspired by our mission and like working within a collaborative environment. You value patience, respect, generosity, and good humour in your working relationships. Having an emerging understanding of intersectionality and gender and racial equity principles will be an asset.

On-line Training Course Development

We would like: To develop an on-line training course that teaches business owners how to use our product. To polish and optimize current offerings consistent with our model. To create new applied materials to expand offerings. This project should focus on: Gathering relevant course design and content information from interviews with key stakeholders. Assessing existing on-line training platform and recommend changes to simplify, explain and optimize outcomes. Assisting in designing new courses. Assisting in developing first iteration of courses (minimum viable product). Adding assessments and skills development tools for courses. We have lots of existing content to share, so the project wouldn't be starting from scratch. The bulk of the project would be course design, rather than content creation.
