The goal is to have a clear plan for how email marketing will support the company's objectives. Initial Campaign Setup: Set up the selected email marketing platform, design a sample email template, and create content for an introductory email campaign. The goal is to have a functioning email marketing system ready for use. List Building and Segmentation: Begin building an email subscriber list by collecting contacts and develop a basic system for segmenting the list. The goal is to have an initial set of subscribers and a plan for organizing them. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of the sample email campaign, tracking key metrics like open rates and click-through rates. The goal is to gain insights into the effectiveness of the initial campaign and identify areas for improvement. Compliance Check: Ensure that email marketing practices are compliant with relevant regulations, such as the CAN-SPAM Act. The goal is to operate within legal boundaries. Knowledge Transfer: Transfer knowledge and skills to other team members to ensure they can continue email marketing efforts after the intern's role concludes.
