What is the main goal for this project?

Our team is looking to take our social media presence to the next level in order to drive traffic to our pages. To do this, we hope to improve our search engine optimization, and create an optimal schedule for our social media posts to be uploaded.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that teachers search for.
  • Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google for our relevant keywords.
  • Researching online teacher communities we can start interacting and partnering with.
  • Brainstorming effective ways to engage with teachers online.
  • Creating an initial social media content strategy.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Compiled a list of the most relevant SEO keywords for us.
  • Created a list of online teacher communities across different websites and social media platforms.
  • Prepared a report outlining the SEO keywords and initial social media content strategy.

Bonus steps would include:

  • Creating a content calendar for teachers' activity levels on different times and days.

Final deliverables should include

  • A report containing the most relevant SEO keywords for our company and a list of online teacher communities.
