This package will include:
- Our Business Plan
- Marketing Strategy - outline our key themes, messages and activities
- An Operations Manual - describes and communicates our daily operations
- A Product Guide - Outlines our products and how theyโre used to solve our customerโs issues when walking multiple dogs
This package will be delivered in two formats: 1) a PDF with sidebar navigation and 2) the editable source document in In-Design.
We are setting aside multiple Level-Up projects (May - Sep 2024) to complete this task. This is round 1. Here are the 5 team members that we need and what their tasks will be:
- Business Advisor - an MBA or BBA in their senior year who will advise the team. This intern will 1) outline the components of the document, ensuring that all the crucial elements are in place; and 2) act as a reader throughout the project to ensure the contents are clear and professional.
- Graphic Designer - A graphic design major with interest and experience in designing corporate materials. This intern will: 1) layout the document starting with the initial outline provided by the Business Advisor; 2) develop visual materials as determined by the Business Advisor and writing team; and 3) finalize the document once the final materials have been approved and submitted by the writing team.
- Writer #1 - a business communications major at least one year into their program with strong writing abilities who can draw from our existing documents to draft the elements of each section. They will prepare and deliver this information using Google docs.
- Writer #2 - a communications major at least one year into their program with strong writing abilities who can draw from our existing documents to draft the elements of each section. They will prepare and deliver this information using Google docs.
- Content Editor - A communications or business major in their senior year who will oversee the writing and communication of the ideas in the document. Throughout the project they will act as a reader, advisor and editor finalizing all writing materials for approval.
This is a crucial project for the company, so the business owner will be readily available for regular virtual meetings and guidance via email or telephone. We are passionate not only about the delivery of the final project, but also the process of interns applying their degree-related skills, building upon their critical thinking, and co-creating a document with interns who have different but complimentary skills and talents. We hope this project results in synergy!
The team of 5 interns is designed to be a supportive network all on its own, as each role depends upon the other. It is our goal that leadership, communication, and efficiency are qualities that emerge from this project.
Lastly, all documents will be stored, accessed and organized in a Google Drive folder.
