Collective Intelligence Data Analysis

Positions available: 1-4 (1-2 teams of 1-2) LUCA Theory is looking to partner with a talented student[s] to contribute to our collective intelligence data analysis. We're looking for someone who is diligent and tactful to be able to help us manage data pipelines, build visualizations and run analysis. This role is for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door at an early-stage startup with the opportunity to grow. LUCA is a collective intelligence startup based out of Montreal. We are committed to helping power decision-making in a variety of fields with our goal to overcome cognitive biases and be less wrong. We primarily work remotely and get together for key sessions when it dictates. About the Role We are continuing to evolve our data analysis strategy, increase our impact in the collective intelligence market and improve our product offering. To expand our ability to generate novel insights and identify superforecasters within our platform, we are eager to partner with a student to assist with our collective intelligence data analysis. To support our data analysis we are looking for a student to contribute to the following: * Clean event data from recent collective intelligence contests to make uniform; * Perform data analysis on datasets with the eye to identify superforecasters and prepare to build artificial intelligence algorithms; * Contribute to the development of an automated backend and overall rapid response algorithm; * Assists in general database management and organization. This role may be split up amongst a pair of students/teams, depending on profiles and mandates. About You You are an undergrad, master's student, MBA or otherwise passionate student looking for a new opportunity to add to your portfolio. You have a strong knowledge of data analysis platforms, an active portfolio and a keen analytical mind. You have the ability to learn new platforms quickly and easily. About the Role We are building the next generation of decentralized social applications on the Farcaster protocol, focusing on innovative mini-apps that leverage open social graph data. To expand our development capabilities and create reusable infrastructure for the Farcaster ecosystem, we are seeking talented students to contribute to real-world Web3 applications that will be used by thousands of users. This role offers students the opportunity to work on production-level applications while contributing to open-source tools that will accelerate future development in the Farcaster ecosystem. To support our Farcaster development initiatives, we are looking for students to contribute to the following: Design and develop mini-apps that operate within Farcaster's constrained UI environment (mobile-first, iframe-based applications) Implement Farcaster Quick Auth systems with token-based authentication flows Analyze social graph data to identify user patterns, engagement metrics, and create novel social experiences Build reusable templates and libraries for authentication, UI components, and data visualization Contribute to an automated backend using serverless functions and Base blockchain integration Create alternative feed algorithms and experimental social mechanics using Farcaster's open protocol data Assist in developing comprehensive documentation and deployment guides for the broader developer community This role may be split among 2-4 students depending on skill sets and project complexity.
