Students will work on system development cycles in an interactive data base environment. The case projects are set in a team environment with the supervising faculty member servicing as your consultant and evaluator.We are looking for students to get hands-on experience of working with information systems, especially using Unified Modelling Language (UML).Students are experienced at the following:Software development languages (Visual Studio.NET, Java);Computer hardware, networking and operating systems (Windows, Unix and Linux);Data gathering, modelling and database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server 2000);Retrieval techniques of databases and programming languages (SQL, PLSQL, ADO.NET, JDBC); andTarget platforms, including Windows application development, networked software development, web application development (XHTML, JavaScript, ASP, Java).
