Level Up: Video Creation - Product Introduction
One team - can include more than one student Have you ever wanted to make a info video - maybe using one of those online programs that use a cartoon/whiteboard format? Do you think you can created funny, clever and professional content all at the same time? We have an ingestible capsule that needs to 'collected at the other end'. Imagine the possibilities.... We would like students to help us with creating a video to help introduce our product. We have a first in kind product that will benefit from a lighthearted and creative introduction. Here is your chance to be very creative and bring a simple project from beginning to end! Come up with the format, the script, the storyboard and make it happen. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Select a format that will meet the available resources Create the story board for the video working closely with senior management Write the script Make the video! If you like a memorable project that you can claim for your own you are the ideal candidate. A student or team with excellent writing and creative skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. Don't worry about prior experience this is the opportunity to learn on the job.
Virtual Internship Opportunity: Marketing
We are looking for either a single student or a group of students to complete this project. The student(s) will complete a marketing project in one or more of the following areas: Branding - Evaluate our organization's current brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors. Marketing Communications - Recommend changes to advertising and PR materials; create an integrated marketing campaign; create a rebranding campaign. Market Research - Investigate our competitive landscape; identify expansion opportunities; identify key messaging for (new product or service). Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; evaluate current collateral, press releases, user testimonials and customer stories. Prospecting Strategy - Evaluate our current customer base and make recommendations for further market penetration; assess our current outreach process and develop and implement targeted prospecting; review our prospect messaging, make improvement recommendations, and create new outreach content. SEO Strategy & Recommendations - Evaluate our current SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility; increase our inbound traffic and optimize the customer journey; increase inbound leads. Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts. Depending on the objective selected, our goal at the end of this experience will correspond to the following: Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share. Market Research - For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing aligns with our target sector/customer. Public Relations - For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience. Prospecting Strategy - For the student(s) to help us implement better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boost our sales team's performance. SEO Strategy & Recommendations - For the student(s) to help us generate more traffic and revenue through search engines. Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content. Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using tools such as mail chimp. Content development, including social posts, blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and website copy. Positions Available: 5 Students Any combination of: Graphic Arts and/or Video/Animation Creation and/or Solid Experience in building solid organic presence on Pinterest, Instagram, Tik Tok We want amazing content and you want an amazing portfolio of work you can share at your future interviews - we have a match ... We have a range of creative projects on our wish list and we're looking to work with creative and ambitious students to produce relevant, engaging blog, video and graphic content for our website and social media channels. We are modern, ambitious, entrepreneurial and we already employ industry leading marketing tools that you will have a chance to work with during your project Shopify, Klaviyo, Lucky Orange, etc.). Our core business at Werrv ( https://werrv.ca/ ) is selling parts and accessories to Recreational Vehicle (RV) and Boat owners, but don't think it's boring - we are different. We're even on Tik Tok now... Bonus if you're interested in #vanlife . Content may be in the form of short form social media posts, Infographics, Videos, Animation, 3D product models and a wide range of Graphic Assets. We are looking for a high quality of content aligned to our brand and helping our customers to make informed buying decisions with a comfortable customer experience. Students may also be able to develop advertising messages and A/B test the results of various content in real time during the project to confirm the optimal fit for our customers. Project Scope 1) Onboarding - We'll share our knowledge - Gain familiarity with our context, including: company goals, competitive landscape, industry trends, our industry leading tools and our content priorities. 2) Prioritize – We'll work together to shortlist from our long list of content priorities considering strategic value, your aptitude and interests, potential level of engagement with our customers, ease of curation/creation from reliable sources, and relevance to target customer personas. We'll categorize by channel/type of content. 3) Create/Curate Content – Develop the content pieces identified above (graphic, video, infographic depending on your area of focus) and recommend a calendar/sequence of release dates for social media channel based content. 4) Live Analysis and Strategy Refinement – As a bonus, there is the opportunity for students to get live feedback/observation of their work based on A/B testing and, we have the "Lucky Orange" App that allows us to replay users' actual interaction with website content, noting things like how quickly they scrolled though content, where they clicked, etc. and the ability to post surveys and gain user feedback. Our website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Timely meeting access and response to questions will be provided, including by text, or on-line communication tools.
