As our organization continues to grow, it is important for us to stay up to date with our tools and processes for employee and organizational performance management. We have a desire to focus specifically on performance evaluation tools. The goal is for this tool to be interactive, user-friendly and relevant to our staff to assist with adoption and strategic tools to move the organization forward. We want to use this opportunity to create a preliminary design and redesign of these tools to ensure targets, goals and performance targets are being documented and called upon. Software / Application / Web Development
We would like to develop software and applications to automate processes and support our staff and clients, and develop our current website. We would like to work with students to develop software and mobile applications, and add and change the website.
Occupational Health & Safety Program Development
Our organization is looking to solidify its Occupational Health & Safety program. The goal of this project is to expand and formalize H&S programming, contributing to the development a safety culture.
Organizational Strategy (Vision, Mission and Values) Assessment and Development
As our organization continues to grow, it is important for us to revisit and develop our organizational vision, mission, and values. We would like our values to align current and new employees and clients, as well as guide our strategy.
Leadership Training Development
Our professionals have multiple responsibilities in their roles, which includes technical expertise and responding to challenging, difficult, and unique situations and individuals. Our goal is to ensure our team is prepared with adequate leadership skills, including conflict management, problem solving, critical thinking, communication, strategic thinking and leadership, creativity, persuasion and negotiation skills, to name a few.
Corporate Social Responsibility / Sustainability work development
We are looking for students to work with our organization to assess and develop a Corporate Social Responsibility/sustainability plan. We want to positively impact sustainability, and interested to know where we can contribute to the UN SDGs and other sustainability initiatives.

We are looking to improve our financial systems and processes. Through this work, we would like to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our financial management.

We would like to establish and design a Health and Wellness Program for our organization. The Program could include physical, psychological, social & environmental, financial, and intellectual & occupational wellness, as well as absence management. Currently, we do not have a formalized Health and Wellness Program. We do not feel we have an adequate understanding of what types of health and wellness initiatives will be of value to our employees or how to justify the cost. We would like to get a better sense of what other organizations are doing to promote health and wellness among their employees and which programs are most impactful. The primary goal of designing a Health and Wellness Program is to elevate the overall wellbeing of our employees and to make our organization an employer of choice. We hope to gain an understanding of what components should be included and on implementation strategies.

Business Administration Placement
We’re looking for a student to help with one or more areas in our business, which could include: Advancing Business Administration - reviewing/updating our vision, mission and values, developing annual goals/objectives, or payroll and financial processes Developing our Human Resources - policy review/development, DEI, Talent Acquisition, or H&S program work Executing our Marketing plans - sourcing, curating, developing, and posting content, and implementing strategies Creating Sales materials - sales projections, sales material and resources Implement Financial structures - budget development, forecast, variance reports, and accounts payable/receivable tracking Digitalize processes - payroll timecards, training sign-in sheets, or audit forms Updating Communication resources - revising/standardizing communication templates such as letter heads, reports, presentations, or social media templates Planning Events - compiling conference/tradeshow opportunities and cost, and outlining a business case

We’re looking for a student to help execute our marketing plans. This includes sourcing, curating, developing, and posting content, and implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement.

We would like to develop a system to effectively build our workforce. Working with students, we want to assess and improve our hiring practices and implement structure and best practices. Students should be prepared to: Evaluate our current recruitment and selection procedures. Develop hiring systems and processes, based on best practices and our organizational needs. Consider the use of psychometric tests, assessment exercises, and standardized interview practices. Recommend talent acquisition branding and marketing strategies
Sales Process Optimization
We would like you to review and document our current sales process, define a strategy, and generate training material for those responsible for sales. Based on your research and industry best practices, you should develop new messaging and sales scripts to help us increase the quality and number of leads generated. The insights that you provide will help our team improve lead generation and increase conversion rates to drive more sales with proven sales techniques, strategies and approaches.
Website Development / Redesign
We would like to redesign the website for our organization. We would like to work with students to work on the website for us. With our assistance in providing content, students should be prepared to: Update the format and layout of the website, such as font style, colours, and layout; and/or Build a webpage form for visitors to submit questions or requests; and/or Add new content to the website, such as descriptions and icons to our social media; and/or Edit/add title/page tags/keywords; and/or Add a space for blog-posts on the website
Competitive Analysis
It’s important for us to have a better understanding of how our target audience perceives our brand and competitors. We want to develop clarity on our competitive advantages and optimize our marketing strategy. We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitors in our space and how we can differentiate ourselves through our product/service offering, and our messaging. We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We can suggest names of competitors to research.
Digital Marketing Plan
We would like students to help us with creating a digital marketing plan. The plan will assess the current state and provide digital marketing recommendations to increase online traffic and customer leads. Ultimately, you will be working on a plan that addresses social media marketing, email marketing and SEO as go-to marketing tools. New Employee Training Development
Our company is looking to improve our new employee onboarding. Ideally, an online course, or manual, will introduce employees to their new roles, take employees through all start-up resources, and provide standardized feedback and data about employee progress. We would like to provide the right content to new employees to ensure their success as well as standardize our onboarding process.
Brand Identity and Graphic Design
Our organization needs some branding and graphic design help! We are looking for teams that can help amplify what makes us unique and create better messaging for our brand. This would include identifying areas of improvement and developing a plan for brand awareness and better promotion.
Infection Control Website UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website with a prototype. We would like a group of students to design a new prototype web application based off of our current website’s functionality. This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focus might return the best results in a redesign. Learning and using various software design tools. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendly. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this.
Marketing for Infection Control services
The primary focus for the student will be: Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment; define our organization's brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors. Investigate our competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market. Recommend changes to advertising and PR materials. Review our prospect messaging, make improvement recommendations, and create new outreach content. Develop and implement an SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility. Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s).
